Washington, DC - At a time when LGBTQ+ service organizations across the country are facing budget cuts and layoffs, the Wanda Alston Foundation is stronger than ever. The Foundation is growing its programs, expanding its reach, and investing in a future where every LGBTQ+ young person in the Nation’s Capital has a safe home, a supportive community, and a pathway to independence.
The Annual Fall Reception set for Friday, September 18th, includes Honorary Hosts: Councilmembers Zachary Parker, Matt Frumin, Robert White, former Mayor Anthony Williams, and many more.
