Please join us for our Wanda Alston House 2nd Annual Spring Fling fundraiser at The Mansion on O Street. It promises to be an extraordinary evening of magic, mystery and entertainment! We had so much fun the last time, we decided to go back.
In addition to raising much needed funds to support our LGBTQ youth and the Wanda Alston House, we will honor former board president Kevin Brunell and former Executive Director Kenneth Pettigrew for their outstanding contributions to the lives of homeless LGBTQ youth.
The Mansion, which has over 100 rooms and 70 doors, provides a unique and wonderful space to celebrate, support and to have fun. Last year, one of our guests was able to find 8 of the secret doors, which we are told is above average! Can you set the new record?
After exploring The Mansion, please join us in the ballroom for fabulous company & conversations over lite hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be available for you!
As always, we appreciate your generous support as we continue to grow and fulfill our mission to empower our city’s LGBTQ youth through our housing program for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth. In the past year, youth in our existing program have successfully returned to and completed high school, others found stable employment and housing, and even enrolled in college! We are currently working hard to expand into a second house, which will serve as a 24/7 emergency shelter for LGBTQ youth. Your contribution will help us reach that goal faster and many others.
Please consider joining out Host Committee for our Second Annual Spring Fling!
